So I had a memory come up today on my Facebook page in regards to my training of ZeeNa. She had become a bit of a testy puppy. I was told that her breed was often rehomed between 7-10 months of age because they became defiant. For me it was all about going back to the basics. Basic commands that is. Sometimes you have to start over and go back to the foundation of all training, basic obedience. To this day, at 2 1/2 years old I still take ZeeNa back to basic obedience when she is being stubborn or having a rough time learning a new command. So don’t be ashamed to go back to the basics.
